While becoming a Mrs. is still on hold for Gretchen Rossi, she is preparing for another three-letter word: Mom.

The Real Housewives of Orange County star tells Life & Style that she and longtime beau Slade Smiley talk about "talk about babies every day," adding "I wouldn't be surprised if they come before a wedding or engagement."

How serious is that baby talk? "We're redoing our house and figuring out where to put the nursery," the OC Housewife says. Gretchen tells that mag that Slade is reversing a vasectomy he had done years ago, adding, "We both know we're ready ... I'm so excited about playing dress-up and having matching outfits with a girl, and I would be just as blessed to have a little boy, too," the 33-year-old continues telling the mag. "We're very excited about starting a family."



Even though Gretchen's father declined to give Slade his marry-my-daughter blessing, he's okay with this babies then wedding arrangement.  "I am very excited about the next stage of my life with Slade. He is going to make an amazing father to our children -- just like my father has been to me!” the beauty and fashion entrepreneur writes in her Bravo blog. "Was it just me or did Slade and my father remind you of each other in last week's episode? Weird! My parents really do adore Slade and they are excited about the thought of little ones soon as well!”
