The Real Housewives of New Jersey's Caroline Manzo may not have been completely onboard with her daughter Lauren's recent breast reduction surgery, but now that she's seen the results, she may be changing her tune.
Lauren Manzo tells Radar Online that "The recovery was painless, so now my mom wants to get it done...She has always had big boobs like me, but now that my back problems have disappeared, my mom is seriously considering it."
Lauren's recent surgery took her from a G cup to a C cup after a lap-band surgery last year made her feel that "G-size boobs don’t work on a smaller frame so I decided—against my mom’s wishes—to get the reduction."
Lauren has been extremely vocal on Twitter about how happy she is with the results of her surgery, thanking her doctor multiple times, and writing "I LOVE my new boobs!" She also posted a before and after picture this week, showing off her new figure.
If Caroline does go under the knife, it would be her second cosmetic procedure. She got a tummy tuck when she was 39, but also recently said, "At this point in my life, I'm not going to do anything for the sake of vanity and trying to maintain my youth. I'm 52, and I don't want to compete with my daughter. I want to look like her mother, not a science project." Although the Manzo matriarch was also wise enough to admit she follows a "never say never" mantra.
Perhaps Caroline's ultimate decision will be chronicled in the new pilot she and her family are shooting for Bravo, Manzo'd with Children.
Lauren looks beautiful!! I love that you are going to have your own show & looking forward to it. I think Caroline is so pretty just as she is! Best of luck & God bless all of you!
of course Caroline will have surgery......her face needs a nip and tuck too...the surgery bug spreads like a virus.....Caroline is a cute women so go for it...who doesn't want to look better......good luck with the new show I really don't find the Manzo's to be that interesting unless they really dig into personal issues on family dynamics it could be hohum
Absolutely LOVE you and your family! I was so excited when I heard you will have your own show! Go Manzos! Myself, my family and friends will be right there supporting you all the way! You are wonderful. Good luck and God bless!
The recovery was painless. That's very misleading. It is a very difficult and painful surgery. The recovery is about 8 weeks. Three weeks off work in excruciating pain. Also, the nipples are removed and replaced taking away all feeling because the nerves are cut. Unless a person has back problems because of the size, I would never recommend it. Maybe Lauren just had a simple life and not a full reduction.
