Teresa Giudice on Joe's Phone Call: 'I Was Sick' Watching It
"I felt like I'd been kicked in the stomach," she writes in a candid blog post.

Fans of Real Housewives of New Jersey found themselves with their jaws on the floor last night seeing Joe Giudice step away from the dinner table to make a phone call, resulting in some suspicion about who was on the other end, and also him referring to Teresa Giudice by some unprintable words. It turns out, Teresa was just as shocked seeing the footage for the first time.
In a very candid blog post, Teresa opens up with a reflective statement, saying:
From flipping a table to giving birth to going through bankruptcy to a million other things, I've done a lot and seen a lot from my family and friends on camera over the last few years. I thought nothing could surprise me anymore. And then I got the call.
She says that a magazine approached her asking about the incident, which she had no idea about aside from her interaction with Joe when she walked over. But then she saw the tapes and it sunk in. "Once I got a copy and watched it, I was sick. I felt like I'd been kicked in the stomach. It has not been a good couple of weeks," T writes. She says that she hoped it wouldn't air, but given that she signed up for a reality show, there wasn't much she could do.
"Kind of like that other promise: for better or for worse. Welcome to the 'worse,'" she wrote.
Teresa continued, saying Joe "doesn't remember" calling her those names, and that he's never said them before or since. Read T's full post here.
Teresa, you have a strong personality and the ability to love with no limits and no boundaries. You react haphazardly sometimes bc you are not mean spirited and you expect that from your "friends" and family as well. You mean no harm to anyone's feelings yet the first chance they get to hurt you they take? These people have known you for so long and it appears they are ripping you apart for just being you. Stay true to yourself and your girls bc that is what life's all about! Nothing and no one else.
Wow looks like everyone says some pretty harsh stuff, about you dont listen to that garbage and do stand up for your self..Your a wonderful person but when you did your toast you should have meantioned your family kathy i know your proble thinking yeah should had but didnt..It sucks , top if off your a strong woman and you will get through anything look how far you have come:)
I feel so sorry for this woman. It does not matter what she says or what she does... It is ALWAYS the wrong thing to do or say. How much fun is it to live like that?! 0%....
Just watched you on WWHL where you were complaining about "someone" putting out bad stories to the media about you. Did it ever occur to you that maybe no one did that at all, that maybe the magazine just asked someone some questions. After all, you can't blame anyone else for what the magazine writes!
T, don"t let that man drag you down with him. Stand up for yourself.
Teresa your life has changed so drastically since the show began. To anyone on the show who says you have "changed" of course you have changed! You have been through many struggles in the last year - and you have survived! You will survive this, as well. I do not think you slighted Kathy with regard to the toast. While I do not believe you are always 100% right in what you do and say on the show... it does appear that the others have been jumping on every opportunity to criticize you. I do not understand why they cannot see how heavily the things you have faced in the last year have been weighing on you and why they cannot cut you some slack! When you are friends with someone... sometimes that's what you have to do - realize that it is not personal and give them the benefit of the doubt. On a lighter note I looked up Gia's Boardwalk video on YouTube after part of it aired on WWHL a few weeks back. She is so talented! and my kids (ages 7 and 5) are in love with her after watching her dance. As children who love dance themselves, they keep asking to watch it over and over! You must be so proud of her!

I'm sorry fo wat you're going throuh. The toast at dinner was mean spirited I must say.. Joe shouldn't treat you that way though. I couldnt believe when i saw the phone call on tv. Is he crazy? You are beautiful and gave him four beautiful daughters. You work hard, cook, clean. He's a fool. Mae him sleep in the basement or better kick him out. Explain to th kids. Good luck
I love Carolyn Manzo and related to her birthday because I have the same great relationship with my hubby after 33 yrs and our 2 sons 24 & 22. Good job Carolyn and I agree you do not need someone like Teresa in your life. I loved your refusal to raise your glass for a toast that was very mean spirited. I love Kathy & Richie. Teresa will have to learn the hard way that money doesn't buy happiness
cocodo @ Carolyn is a class act and she and Al have raised good kids. A job well done!:) I, too, like Kathy & Rich. I think he's a kick! As for Teresa, it 's a darn shame that she has cut out all the good people in her life. She is going to learn a very, very hard lesson. So sad.
