Courtney Kerr

Courtney's hoping to have the perfect career, man, and of course, outfit.

Episode 1: You Think You Know Me?!

The last time you all saw me on television, I was in a hot tub with Matt Nordgren

Well, pruned fingers and all, we finally got out…and then he never called me again. But I bounced back OK, don't y'all think?!

I am so glad that I have finally been able to catch y'all up on what I have been doing the past two years! As you will be able to see throughout this season of Courtney Loves Dallas, I am trying to figure out how to (maybe!) have it all…but as a woman, is that ever really possible?! Can a woman have the perfect career, the perfect friends, and the perfect family, all while trying to find their perfect man…and be wearing the perfect outfit?! Well, I am in the search to see for myself, and of course, I will make several mistakes along the way!

Courtney - have I got a deal for you! Kick Matt to the curb and forget him! I think you are a smart and lovely young woman who deserves and can have it all. Having said that, I would like you and your girl friends to come visit me in Arizona. Why? I am a middle-aged woman who is in need of a daughter-in-law to spoil. I am a fashion addict, love Marfa, Texas and have a son who is 28 that folks frequently mistake for Jake Gylenhall. You girls need to come on out to Arizona for a visit. You, my dear, belong in my family.

Great show love watching you and seeing a single girl make it, have great girlfriends, good relationship with the family......the man will come. Close the door on Matt for good, others will open. Many blessings.

Hey Courtney! No idea why these people are so darn judgmental! Liked the show, love your outfits, and yep we've all been there in regards to having hearts broken and learning lessons the hard way. At least that's the way I see it. I think the best thing for you to do right now is concentrate on work but make sure you balance it out and have just as much fun! Good luck girl! Rock it out!

I cringed watching you and your friend make fun of the DJ at the sushi restaurant, running through all the Asian stereotypes & slurs you could think of.  "DJ Me So Horny"?  Not funny, just gross.

Carrie gets drunk and the next morning is hungover at brunch with Samantha, Miranda and Charlotte.  Mr. Big hasn't called in over a year but suddenly shows up at a party so Carrie wears her kitty cat shirt to show him who's boss.  Wait a minute... I think I've seen this episode before.  Even Courtney's one liners are Carrie knock offs.  Boo.  Or should I say "hiss."

Courtney, I feel so sorry for you.  You don't even realize that you cannot have an ex when he was never into you.  It was clear in all of the previous Most Eligible Dallas shows that Matt is just a player and you are one of the played.  How sad that you are still thinking you had some kind of relationship.  You were a hanger-on and he loves it when women like you throw yourself at him.  It makes him feel like a big man.  Now, you have your own show, and HE IS BACK!  Surprise!  So sad.

Love the show! Yeah, you were the obvious star of MEDallas, and Nordgren looked like a total tool. I see nothing has changed for Matt. Still running around with his pee pee hanging out. You go girl! The clothes, the style, it's all working! The right guy will come along sweetie. Let him come to you.

I have to say I did not like you oh the other show...in fact when I saw you had your own show I was very disappointed  in bravo like out of all the people on Bravo, you? I heard very many bad things about you from people saying you're very vain and think you're a celeb, but I'm willing to give you another shot to see if maybe I can like you. So here it goes. I hope you do find love because everyone deserves it.

hi courtney

wasnt sure how i was gonna feel about the show, was not a big fan of the most eligible dallas, prolly because I couldnt stand that matt guy, most annoying man on tv, didnt understand why he was sooo full of himself. anyways watched ur show last night and LOVED IT> thought you were hilarious and real which was very refreshing especially when almost everyone on tv now is TRYING to hard to b funny and is so fake. you talking about hangovers at 30 which was spot on and a lot of things you said i totally agreed with.some of your style choices are a lil too much for me and I didnt quite understand a lot of them...to each there own..cant wait to keep watching.

xx

Oh Lord!  PLEASE dont make this show all about the "cat and mouse" game between Matt and Courtney!  It gets tiresome!

Oh Courtney, I watched your new show, and I'm depressed. The bloom is off and you are beginning to look a little rough around the edges. Not sure what has happened to you in the last two years, but you seem to be unwilling to become a fully functioning adult at age 30. It's sad.

I liked watching your show, just as I liked watching your segments on Most Eligible Dallas. Your passion for fashion and all that it implies is colorful and amusing. I hope this pans out for you in a big and prosperous way. Best of luck, Courtney. And Matt is ugly, by the way. Walk on and don't look back -- you might turn to stone!

Courtney, Courtney, Courtney.  I could never quite understand the attraction to Matt...sort of a 14 year old boy in a grown up body, with all the self awareness and insight of a former football star.  Oh wait...  (And why, O why are women so enamored with athletes...I mean athletic achievement is certainly to be admired, but what skills involved in throwing, catching, running or puffing out one's chest in transformer-worthy padding are transferable to being a good partner, a supportive husband or nurturing father?  I don't get it.  It's like hooking up with someone living in perpetual boyhood.  Oh well.)

I was always rolling my eyes at Courtney's rigid and fantastical vision of what her partner and their life together would be like.  So proscribed and specific.  Leaves no room for any individuality on the part of the guy, don't you think?  You're not looking for a partner, you're looking for a bit player from central casting.  Maybe the partner for you has his own visions about what his lifestyle will be like post-marriage, or <<gasp>> wants to let his life unfold a bit and adapt to what comes his way without mapping out what he'll be doing with his grinning wife and their 2.4 children on a Thursday in August 7 years from now.  Just a thought.

You seem like a nice enough person.  Fashion expert, not so much, but to each his or her own and if you can scrape out a living from it, god bless ya.  (But, psst!  Lose the mushroom cloud hairstyle, with two pieces pulled back on either side, plastered to your head and your hair poufing out on top...looks baaad.)

Hi Courtney,

I actually signed up for this site just so I could post a comment! I watched the show last night and I have to say I was very pleasantly surprised (wasn't sure what to expect after watching a few episodes of Most Eligible Dallas).  I think you are an extremely well rounded and relate able to the viewers.  You seem to have a kind heart which has been broken a few times though, but I agree that you shouldn't settle and should have the magic you desire.  FYI, when a guy that you love/care about  "just stops calling" (I've been there, its torture), you are correct in realizing he's not on the same playing field feeling-wise for you and you have to move on.  I like your sense of style so I will definitely be tuning into your website for tips! Best of luck to you with the show and everything!!

I watched you on your previous show and hoped that you had moved on from the Fictional Relationship you seem to believe you had with Matt, but I see that you are still holding on to something you have conjured up in your head.  It's not healthy to have this fantasy, one-sided, rollercoaster relationship.  Do you truly think that Matt has feelings for you as you do him?  He does NOT.  You should seriously read, "He's Just Not That Into You" by Greg Behrendt and Liz Tuccillo.  Greg said that he wrote the book because he was tired of seeing his sister and friends suffer, like you, regarding the missunderstanding of Truth from Fiction on how a man feels toward a woman.  You talk about 'finding a man', oh how I wish you would come to a place, in your mindset, to let the man find YOU.  You can dress up and change the outside appearance one hundred times a day, it won't change a thing.

When you finally realize these things then life will change in such a great way for you:

-Knowing what  is REAL in your life (what is really happening, not make believe)

-Understanding what actions people ACTUALLY  take to be in your life  & why you make the effort to be in theirs

-Surrounding yourself with people who love you and who you love in return

-Fullfilling those things you love (keeping your mind occupied with meeting goals & taking action to achieve them)

-Giving of yourself because you are happy to do so

Honey, you will make a man STEP UP to want to be with you, because they want to become better for YOU & to KEEP you.

One more thing, I think you would look really good with a side part in your hair and some bangs.  It would flatter your face.

Keep your head up and start to dig yourself.  Toss out the insecure demons.

I really hope they post this and that you actually read it.
